He graduated from Korea Maritime & Ocean University with a degree in Maritime Law in 1998 and joined KORHI the same year.  In 2000 he obtained the qualification of Korean Marine Surveyor and, in 2003, obtained the qualification of Korean Average Adjuster.  Since joining KORHI, he has been appointed by leading shipping companies and insurers in Korea and handled various maritime accidents such as ship collision, stranding, engine failure, other ship damage, various cargo damage, general average and salvage.

He graduated from Korea Maritime & Ocean University with a degree in Navigation in 1979 and worked as a deck-officer on ocean-going vessels. In 1981, He joined Richards Hogg International Ltd and gained extensive experience in marine insurance claims. He obtained the qualification of Korean Average Adjuster in 1985 and founded KORHI Average Adjusters & Surveyors Ltd in 1990, serving as CEO until 2008. He was responsible for consulting and settling maritime claims for leading Korean shipping companies, including Hanjin Shipping, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Pan Ocean, Sinokor Merchant Marine, and Hanwha Ocean (DSME), Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).  He has also served as an examiner, mediator, and civil mediation committee member at the Korea Insurance Development Institute, Insurance Training Institute, Seoul District Court, and the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. Currently, as the Senior Claims Adjuster at KORHI, he provides internal and external consulting and handle maritime  claims.

In 2003, She obtained the qualification of Korean Average Adjuster, and since then, She has been responsible for marine insurance claims (General Average, Salvage, Collision liability, Builder's Risk, etc) for various shipping companies, including Hanjin Shipping, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Pan Ocean, Sinokor Merchant Marine, Hanwha Ocean (ex. DSME), and several others.

After graduating from Korea Maritime University in 2001 with a degree in Maritime Police, I worked as a deck officer on ocean-going vessels from 2001 to 2004, reaching the position of Second Officer, which allowed me to gain experience in the maritime field. In 2005, I joined our company, where I began focusing on handling marine claims. In 2012, I obtained Average Adjuster certification.

Building on my academic background and experience as a deck officer, I initially gained field experience through casualty surveys in our company, holding a surveyor's certification. Subsequently, I acquired extensive theoretical knowledge by managing various cargo, hull, and liability claims (including particular/ general average, (RDC) collision claims, liability claims and others).

After graduating from Korea Maritime University in 2003, she spent approximately 10 years working in the shipping company, handling planing and claims management. During this time, she gained extensive knowledge in the maritime field and accuumlated practical experience thorugh various shipping-related tasks. In 2012, she joined Korhi Average Adjusters & Surveyors Ltd, where she has been repsonsible for dealing with adjustment for H&M claim, Loss of Hire, general average, cargo and liability claims. Additionally in 2017, she obtained a qualification as a property adjuster.

After graduating from the division of maritime law at Korea Maritime & Ocean University in 2004, she joined KORHI in 2006 and has extensive in adjusting and handling of hull and cargo claim.  She worked in various cases of general average and salvage claim with “Hyundai Confidence”, “Maersk Honam”, “Kent Trader”, “Archimidis”, etc.

I joined KORHI Average Adjusters & Surveyors Ltd. In 2024. After graduating from the Division of Maritime Transportation at Mokpo Maritime University, I worked as a Navigating Officer(Second Officer) on a tanker ship. My experience as a Navigating Officer has provided me with deep understanding of maritime incidents. I am currently expanding my expertise in claims.
